Left: Correlation between the daily clinical doses of neuroleptics and the radioligand-independent K values. Iloperidone doses are estimated from early clinical trial data (8). Right: Although chlorpromazine and thioridazine did not fit the correlation at the left, these drugs fit this correlation between the radioligand-independent K values and the free concentration of neuroleptic in the plasma water or spinal fluid. The final concentration for clozapine includes that for its active metabolite, norclozapine. These K values are for 50% blockade of D2 in the absence of any dopamine.
