Publishing Partnership renewed for Neuropsychopharmacology
The American College of Neuropsychopharmacology (ACNP) and Nature Publishing Group (NPG) are pleased to announce a renewal of their publishing partnership. Under the agreement, NPG will continue to provide publishing services for the journal Neuropsychopharmacology (NPP). The ACNP and NPG have worked together continuously since 2003.
This is the second time that the ACNP and NPG have renewed their contractual agreement. Eric Nestler, president of the ACNP said, "NPP is one of the ACNP's most important products, and we are delighted to continue our alliance with NPG to make NPP a top tier journal in the basic and clinical neurosciences."
Established in 1987, NPP is the official publication of the ACNP. The journal has a 2009 Impact Factor of 6.993 and ranks 18/230 in the Neuroscience category, 6/117 in the Psychiatry category, and 10/236 in the Pharmacology & Pharmacy category in the 2009 Journal Citation Report (Thomson Reuters, 2010).
NPP journal is published monthly in print and online at nature.com/npp, including a full-text archive back to 1994. This journal focuses upon clinical and basic science contributions that advance our understanding of the brain and behavior.
NPG also publishes Neuropsychopharmacology Reviews (NPP Reviews), which is published each January as a special issue of Neuropsychopharmacology. As a commitment to the ongoing growth and development to NPP, NPG in 2010 started publishing a yearly podcast as a complement to the NPP Review issue.
