May I apply for more than one travel award, if I am eligible?

Yes, you must fill out separate application forms for each award that you would like to be considered for.

What minority groups qualify as minorities?

Our Travel Awards that serve minorities are meant to bring in scientists from ethnic groups that are currently underrepresented in the field. Those groups would include: African-Americans, Hispanics, Native Americans, and Pacific Islanders.

Do I have to be an American citizen to apply for a travel award?

 You must be a resident of North America or dependencies of the United States (including Mexico and Canada), or in the process of applying for residency to be eligible for a travel award.

If I have received a travel award in the past, may I apply for another award?

Previous ACNP awardees would not be eligible for the Travel Award for Minorities, or the Early Career Development Award.

We will notify all applicants of their status at the end of June.
